Safeguarding Critical Infrastructures in a Hyper Connected Global Economy

Presented by the Information and Communications Technology Council

Cybersecurity as a competitive advantage for your Organization

Companies of all sizes with effective cyber security have an advantage: Secure information means fewer work interruptions, minimize or eliminate lost revenues, and strong customer relationships in the face of cyber attacks.

To help you secure this advantage, the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC), with funding from Public Safety Canada, will deliver cyber security workshops to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in five cities – Calgary, Edmonton, Fredericton, Ottawa, and Victoria – across Canada.

The aim of these workshops is to increase cyber security awareness and responsiveness among Canadian SME businesses, learn about their existing security challenges and provide actionable recommendations for building sustainable cyber security practices that will feed into local, regional and national decision-making.

Topics:

  • ICTC presentation on the impact of cyber security on Canadian businesses
  • Practical cyber practices for your Business
  • Building cyber capability and capacity
  • A featured speaker from industry
  • Q&A with cyber security industry expert to share and disseminate cyber security best practices
