Job Opportunity: Startup Edmonton Concierge

We're looking for a pair of part-time Front Desk Concierges to join our team and serve as primary points of contact online and on site for all members and guests within our innovation hub. 

  • Compensation: $18/hour
  • Position: Part-time, contact position. September 2015 - April 2016.

Responsibilities

  1. Create a collaborative community - internally and externally
  2. Serve as point of contact for all  members and guests online and on site
  3. Solve member related issues to ensure a cohesive community
  4. Assist with building operations and maintenance to ensure highest level    of    member    experience
  5. Deliver an amazing onsite experience in the community for members, partners and    stakeholders
  6. Prepare spaces for hosting of events and programs
  7. Prepare and reset conference rooms
  8. Prepare and restock kitchens and restrooms
  9. Load and unload dishwasher, prepare and organize refrigerators
  10. Prepare and reset common area furniture and equipment
  11. Prepare and maintain printing stations
  12. Attend to service related emergencies
  13. Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks and/or use of supplies
  14. Conduct daily walk-throughs for quality control assessment

Qualifications & Competencies

  1. High school diploma or equivalent job experience 
  2. Ability to communicate in English
  3. Experience and/or an interest in working with startups and entrepreneurs 
  4. Experience in customer service, sales - project management a plus
  5. Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills 
  6. Ability to identify needs of customers and create/drive solutions
  7. Loves working with people
