The BDR will strengthen our understanding of our customers by researching and actively calling the multi-channel network. What is a multi-channel network you might ask? We define this network as the organizations that guide and influence our customers - anything from associations to franchises. The opportunity is two-fold; the BDR will work within our existing network to increase sales and research new long-term relationships for Jobber in the multi-channel space. A successful person in this role will be focused on high-volume activities with existing and new accounts to ensure the long and short-term sales cycles are effective.We’re looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years experience, but that can be flexible based on what you bring to the table. This role will be located at Jobber Headquarters - a historic building in the heart of downtown Edmonton.
- To be driven with a strong sense of urgency. You are no stranger to high-volume sales environments and you rarely hesitate when it comes to making cold calls. Your quick to respond to customer needs and involve the team with your strategy to have high impact results.

To be a confident and methodical decision-maker. At Jobber, we love data. You’ll make decisions based on insights from our customers and conduct the research to back your ideas. You take the time to understand ROI when it comes to any new initiative.
To think big and manage the details. Growing new accounts by making high-volume, outbound calls while managing existing accounts is your biggest challenge and opportunity. You’ll have experience in this kind of sales environment and will manage both priorities effectively.
To be highly intuitive and relationship focused. You are a natural when it comes to building relationships quickly and empathizing with customers. Our customers are #1, so you’ll utilize your relationship skills to gain a deeper understanding of what makes our customers “tick”. You’re impeccable communication skills will help you “get to value” quickly.
To be tech-savvy. It’s something you need to be in order to effectively sell our product. You’ll also be creative and partner with our Marketing team to think of new ways to sell into the multi-channel organizations.
To collaborate. You will collaborate with Sales and Marketing to drive an incredibly positive end-to-end experience for our customers. In essence, you’ll lean on our in-house expertise to ensure efforts equal results.
It would be really great (but not a deal-breaker) if you had...
Previous experience with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems; and
Previous experience working with associations or franchises.
