SEARCH CLOSED

Tens of thousands of customers provide the data – you provide the insights.

If you’re this type of data-driven person, then you should consider joining Jobber! We’re looking for a BizOps (Business Operations) Manager to join our growing BizOps team and manage all aspects of Marketing Ops. This role can be located at the Jobber headquarters in Edmonton, Alberta or our growing office in the OneEleven District inToronto, Ontario.

Everything we do is in pursuit of better supporting small businesses, and each other, in our journey to power the world of mobile services. We are building a humble and supportive company that truly gives a shit, and we’re having a blast doing it. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!

The Job:

As the BizOps Manager responsible for Marketing Ops, you will utilize your strong business acumen and leverage our data to help the marketing team make smart decisions. Your strong consultative approach will drive the implementation, management and optimization of our marketing systems, processes, and technology stack. Reporting to the Director of BizOps, you will be an anchor in developing and forming the BizOps process, data culture and integration into company-wide operations.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Marketing know-how. We’re looking for someone with 3-5 years of previous Marketing Operations or Marketing Analytics experience. You’ll be very familiar with marketing automation tools such as Hubspot, Marketo, Autopilot, etc.

  • A consultative approach. You listen before speaking and understand before providing solutions. You focus on the relationship and build trust easily.

  • Execution excellence. Creating insights is one thing – leading and driving execution is another. You are motivated by getting things across the finish line and have a solid track record of managing projects and multiple priorities at any given time.

  • To think big, yet manage the details. You’re a logical thinker who can see the big picture, but can also define and implement detailed processes. You solve for the immediate need, while ensuring that operations today fit into our future growth.

  • To collaborate. BizOps is a team of specialists, including operations, developers, analysts and data scientists. As a part of a growing team, you’ll lean on your team members to come up with innovative yet effective solutions to further integrate BizOps as a trusted advisor for all departments.

  • Next level communication skills. You’re required to equip and educate the marketing team with the tools, processes, and insights they need to succeed. You must have a deep understanding of their work, their priorities, and how BizOps can help through tools, process & insights.

  • An incredible passion for business intelligence. Familiarity with Saas metrics, KPIs and general business practices is imperative. You support and encourage your teammates to think big about business insights and the importance of identifying and simplifying key operational gaps. You keep abreast of the ever-evolving landscape that is “digital” and share competitive and industry intel with your team.

It would be really great (but not a deal-breaker) if you also had...

  • A marketing, business, mathematics, computer science or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

  • Salesforce and/or SQL database experience.

  • Previous experience at another SaaS business.

What you can expect from us...

  • Extended health benefits package, fully paid premiums.

  • Three weeks paid vacation.

  • Competitive salary.

  • An inclusive environment that believes in bettering and supporting its people.

  • A unique opportunity to build, grow and develop a team within a high-growth environment.
