Social Media Breakfast Edmonton Presents:
Get Outta’ Dodge: Straight-Shooting about the Social Media Good, Bad and Dirty
In our fast paced world, it is common to be linked to technology throughout the day. But is this a good thing for our mental health? Do our social media connections create results that benefit us IRL (in real life) or are they simply fleeting ties that leave us feeling empty and hollow? This talk will explore the good, the bad and the dirty about being “connected” via social media.
From reduced productivity to isolation, technology often gets a bad rap. Yet, we also know that it creates relationships, opportunities and can free up a wealth of time. Reflect on your use of social media and consider if and where you can make changes to increase your mental wellness.
This Month's Presenter:

When not at the office, you may find Deepika giving her time at Momentum Walk In Counselling, enjoying the Edmonton river valley or taking in an art class. You can connect with her atdeepikamittra.com and follow her @DeepikaMittra /facebook.com/DeepikaStressExpert
