On Campus Programs

Our on campus programs are unique initiative between Startup Edmonton and local post-secondary schools to further develop a culture of entrepreneurship on and off campus that will lead to more start-up activity in our community.

Our programs are aimed at undergrad and graduate students in the fields of technology, design and entrepreneurship. They're designed to bring together students and the wider community, develop talent and ideas, initiate product and customer development earlier, and groom the next generation of young entrepreneurial minds.

Here's what we offer:

Startup Student Club Meetups

Monthly lunch time meetups on campus where entrepreneurial students can meet each other along with one of our industry mentors. We provide the lunch, you bring your creative startup ideas.

Startup Office Hours

Get one-on-one feedback with one of our industry mentors at weekly office hours hosted on campus. It's an opportunity for you to get some early validation on your product ideas.

Student Access to Events

Students are welcome to all our events and programs. We offer a select number of discounted student tickets to our events made possible through community sponsors.

Student Access to Our Startup Space

Each year, we're offering a limited number of student memberships to our new downtown space, conveniently located near the Bay/Enterprise LRT Station on 104 st and Jasper Avenue. With access, students have the opportunity to work on projects in the space, alongside working startups and entrepreneurs. Student members also get access and discounts on courses and workshops.

Upcoming events

Startup On Campus programs begin at the University of Alberta and MacEwan University (downtown campus) in Fall 2012.
