In this Facebook Live, Adam Danyleyko, our Community Program Manager, sat down with Dave Bellous to chat all about mentorship. Dave is a longtime member of the startup community, is currently working with the team at ZEPT (a Launch Party alumni company,) and is a sought-after mentor for CEOs and Founders.
One of the most interesting pieces of advice the Dave shares is that when choosing someone to approach as a mentor, either in a formal or informal capacity, it should be someone that scares you a little. This element of fear isn’t to keep you accountable, but more to encourage you to aim to connect with someone further along their career path or level success than what you envision for your own work.
If you're interested in learning more on how to get the most out of your mentorship opportunities, don't miss our Startup 101 session on December 12. In this lunch-hour workshop, Tiffany Linke-Boyko will cover four critical considerations related to mentorship. It's the perfect way to prepare for 2019!
