The Job: 
Reporting to our Head of People Operations, you’ll have the unique opportunity to help build an innovative recruiting function that drives engagement, emphasizes diversity & inclusion and provides an impressive level of clarity to our candidates. As our in-house expert, you’ll partner with hiring managers to establish sourcing strategies and provide insights into key markets, trends and methods that help us find the best talent! 

The TA Specialist will...

  • Champion the recruiting process throughout Jobber and collaborate closely with the Head of People Ops to level-up our overall skill set, approach and understanding of impactful recruiting methods. You will be responsible for the full cycle recruiting process that includes kick-off meeting, sourcing strategy development, sourcing, interview design, interviewing (when required), candidate communication and contract negotiations. 

  • Build strong candidate pipelines and talent communities for key positions and roles by leveraging networking opportunities (Jobber-sponsored events, industry events, meetups, etc.), creating strong recruitment campaigns and establishing communication strategies that heighten candidate engagement in the short and long term. 

  • Deploy assertive sourcing strategies using a range of technologies and methods. You will provide guidance and insights with our “go-to-market” mix that includes community relationships, advertising and technology. 

  • Partner with Marketing to create recruiting messages that are aligned with our voice & tone and reflect our culture/values. Drive and build a strong employer brand by fostering community relationships, highlighting 

  • Utilize data to improve recruiting efficiency, drive innovation and influence hiring decisions. You’ll play a critical role in establishing metrics that both motivate and inform hiring managers. 

  • Understand our diversity & inclusion approach and make recommendations to strengthen this focus within the overall recruitment process. 

  • Resident recruiting expert - up to date on employment standards

  • Become an ambassador of our culture by being humble, supportive - and someone who truly gives a shit! You will represent Jobber with the highest degree of professionalism. 

 In order to be successful, you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a SaaS business. 

  • A well-rounded career that ideally includes experience in HR as well as roles with revenue responsibility, such as agency recruiting or sales.

  • Previous experience influencing and shaping an exciting and effective talent acquisition process. 

  • A natural storyteller and masterful networker. 

  • A data-driven mindset paired with a curiosity that helps inform and educate our leaders. 

  • A track record of ambitious career growth, exceeding targets and being able to motivate others to do the same.
