Remember in the good 'ol days? Did you know we're from Edmonton? And we're not only doing recreational games now, but educational as well.

We are looking for Intermediate and Senior web developers to join our Edmonton team in building exciting, dynamic products across our ever growing collection of gaming and educational products. We are a company that believes in balance, flexibility, communication and helping you make the best use of your time. With half our team based in Los Angeles written communication and willingness to adopt processes to communicate progress and feedback is important.

Currently needed is someone who enjoys front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS). Someone who is confident enough to work along our graphic designer to design pages, mock them up, iterate over them with feedback from the team, and finally implement and QA the final product. Because of our varied products we work in a variety of stacks but mostly MEB(ackbone)N and MERN. Ability to pick up frameworks as you go and willingness to dig into the backend when needed are a plus.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years experience – strong web fundamentals (HTML5, CSS/SASS, JS)

  • Extensive experience in creating modern responsive web pages

  • Experience with modern Javascript frameworks (eg. React/Redux, Vue)

  • Extensive knowledge of browser performance optimization methods and tools (webpack, page speed compliance)

  • Experience working with teams to analyze and contribute ideas to product discussions, designs and decisions

  • A self directed work ethic with good attention to detail

  • Willingness to adopt high level SCRUM/KANBAN processes


  • Legacy Javascript tools: Backbone, Grunt

  • Node js (+express)

  • MongoDB (+mongoose)

  • Java experience

  • Google Cloud Platform

  • Docker/Kubernetes

  • Adobe photoshop/illustrator

  • Knowledge of technical SEO best practices

  • Experience working with high traffic websites


  • Work with product teams to create new websites

  • Adding features and integrations to existing products

  • Modernize and improve existing properties

  • Create engaging experiences for users across a wide range of different websites

  • Adopting new properties into the company (redesigns, integrations)
