Jobber - Sales Representative

This Sales Representative will play a meaningful role in developing relationships through consultative selling, with an influx of inbound opportunities and trials. This role will be located at Jobber Headquarters - a historic building in the heart of downtown Edmonton, AB.

The Job:

This role is with our Sales team, so that means we need someone with the energy and drive to make it a huge success! Our sales process is very consultative, and helping the customers understand the value and efficiency Jobber could provide their company is paramount. We care about our customers, and the right person in this role should too. We’re ideally looking for someone with 1-2 years of related experience, but that can be flexible based on what you bring to the table!

In order to be successful in this position, you'll need…

  • To be a self-starter. The Sales Rep will be required to sell in a high paced fast environment with a fairly short sales cycle. The sales process is consultative, and we help customers recognize the value and efficiency Jobber could provide their company. We need someone who is energized by high volume, not depleted by it!

  • To be incredibly driven and tenacious. In sales, not every customer will say yes or be interested in what you have to say. We need you to dust of your jeans and get right back in the saddle...quickly.

  • To be coachable and adaptable. We are always looking for ways to improve and need someone who is flexible and good with change and ambiguity.

  • To collaborate. You should be able to establish strong relationships quickly and work with the Sales team to understand what is and isn’t working.

  • To have a strong and confident communication style with the ability to actively listen and consult with our customers. You’re also the kind of person who is humble, supportive and polite on the phone. This position involves a good deal of phone time, so these communication skills are imperative!

  • Previous experience with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems would be a plus.

It would be really great (but not a deal-breaker) if you had...

  • Previous inbound sales experience with small businesses.
