Then you should consider joining Jobber! We’re looking for a Salesforce Developer to be part of our Business Operations (BizOps) team at our headquarters in downtown Edmonton, AB, or at our office in Toronto, ON, located in the King West area.
Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. As featured in the Globe and Mail, we work with home and field service companies to help them better quote, schedule, invoice and collect payments from their customers. We’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011 and have just scratched the surface in what we want to accomplish for our customers.
Reporting to the Director of BizOps, the Salesforce Developer will integrate Salesforce with other Jobber systems and optimize its performance to enable our Sales team to build better relationships with our customers. By analyzing, designing, and optimizing our business processes related to Salesforce and the internal tools we use, you will have a direct impact on our teams by making massive improvements in efficiency, better organizational performance and a more productive company.
The Salesforce Developer will:
Work, develop, and improve upon a foundational system at Jobber that is the backbone for many departments.
Strengthen the technical knowledge of our organization.
Work with our Data Engineers to structure our internal systems to “speak” and integrate with Salesforce.
Improve the Sales teams relationship with Salesforce through process recommendations and improvements, while also coaching them on correct behaviours to match structure.
To be successful, you should have:
Experience developing and implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud Solution.
Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience.
Experience with Salesforce declarative programming tools such as Process Builder and Flow Builder/Cloud Flow Designer.
Experience in working with data migration and import tool such as Data Loader and Data Import Wizard.
The ability to collaborate. You’ll need to work with key stakeholders in other departments to ensure they have all the information they need, and any integrations with Salesforce work the way they expect it too.
A solution-oriented mindset. When problems arise, you want to solve them, not raise the red flag. You’ll troubleshoot implementation issues and demonstrate the ability to drive to successful resolution.
A self-starter attitude You are the kind of person who knows what needs to get done and you make it happen. You also involve the right people to help you with this.
Recommendations to improve. You’ll be very familiar with Salesforce best practices and the ability to recommend changes to our process that will increase efficiency for our internal teams.
