Analytics is the use of data and analysis to improve the performance of an organization.  In other words, it's the search for a free lunch.  Ergo, we combine compelling speakers with a free lunch.

This month we're looking at analytics and the environment.

Speakers this month are:

Professor Vic Adamowicz, Resource Economics and Environmental Sociology, University of Alberta, who will be speaking on Environmental Valuation, Consumer Choices and The Value of Mortality Risk Reduction.

Scott Wilson, Resource Analyst, Silvacom, who will be speaking on The Bio-Resource Information Management System.

Brendan Hemens, Director, Northern Land & Environmental Planning, Government of Alberta will be speaking on Caribou Range Planning - Modeling, Analysis and Economic assessment for political decision-makers.

Food starts at 1145, speakers start at high noon.

We hope to see you there.
