Product Edmonton Meetup

  • Startup Edmonton 301, 10359 - 104 Street Northwest Edmonton, AB, T5J 1B9 Canada (map)

Everyone’s a designer – making design an everyday business activity across an organization.

Design has business value. A McKinsey report showed companies with advanced design practices averaged 32% higher revenue growth over five years. But what practices help a company turn into a design-oriented organization? Hint – it’s not having a large design department.

Richard Liebrecht, a design strategist with experience in government, software development, and marketing, will share practical practices for creating efficient processes, language and culture needed to turn an organization’s existing work toward generating and executing on customer and stakeholder insights to create remarkable products. He’ll also be coming hot off attending the DesignOps Global Conference in Manchester, UK, so will be delivering some international insights.
